FIELD: mechanical engineering; methods for protection of the products against the electrochemical high-temperature corrosion.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular, to the method of protection against the electrochemical high-temperature corrosion of the products, which have been made out of beryllium, such as the X-ray windows, disks, the optical mirrors. The method provides for preparation of the product surface and its subsequent passivation by application on the surface of the product of the water solution containing bichromate of the alkali metal and the hydrofluoric acid. At that the solution is additionally added with the sodium fluoride and beryllium, and as the alkali metal bichromate use potassium bichromate at the following ratio of the components (g/l): potassium bichromate - 150-200, hydrofluoric acid - 9.5-9.8, sodium fluoride - 5-10, beryllium - 0.2-0.4, water -up to 1 liter. The technical result of the invention is protection of the products made out of beryllium against the electrochemical corrosion at the increased up to 800°С temperatures at the minimum absorption of the X-ray radiation power and the depth of the film of beryllium up to 3-4 microns.
