SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oilfield equipment, in particular to the design of wellhead sealing devices, and can be used in the extraction of oil by sucker-rod pumps. Blowout-prevention wellhead stuffing box contains an adapter with a spherical head, a tubular body with a flange and two stuffing box seals (bottom and top). Spherical head is located inside the cylindrical body sleeve and is fixed to this sleeve by the flange of the tubular body and the ring located under the body sleeve. Also, device includes a blowout preventer in the form of a nozzle closed by a cover and mounted opposite the opening of the tubular body located between the stuffing box seals. Nozzle is fitted with a sleeve with a compression spring loaded ball. New point is that two washers with the possibility of axial movement are installed in the tubular body between the stuffing box seals. At the same time, end of the sleeve facing the axis of the tubular body is between these washers, and the diameter of the hole of the upper washer is selected to be larger than the diameter of the ball. Washers are spring-loaded with respect to each other by compression springs, each of which is put on a separate pin fixedly inserted in the hole drilled on the bottom washer. On the upper washer, near the end of the sleeve, a hole is drilled, where the upper end of the pin is pressed. Chamfer is removed from the bottom of the side of the pin. In this case, the conical chamfer face interacts with a spring-loaded ball.
