FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control systems of fuel supply equipment of diesel engines. Proposed electronic regulator to control fuel supply contains actuating mechanism whose armature-pusher is rigidly connected with control rack of fuel pump, electronic control unit, and control member position pickup. Gearless-type linear motor is used as actuating mechanism. Said linear step motor is mounted en-bloc with control member position pickup from end face of fuel pump housing. Pump camshaft speed pickup is mounted at opposite end face of fuel pump. Electronic regulator contains engine temperature pickup and engine lubrication system emergency oil pressure pickup.
EFFECT: improved reliability of operation of diesel engine.
