FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed regulator comprises casing drive shaft (1), holder (2) of weights rigidly fitted on shaft (1), rotary weights (3) articulated in holder (2), rotary weight coupling (4) arranged coaxially with drive shaft to displace along shaft axis to rest via rod thrust bearing (26) against main lever (5) sliding in regulator casing to rest by screw thereon. Main spring (7) is engaged with main lever (5). Fuel pump rack (9) is arranged in casing and engaged with rack lever (10) gimbal mounted at coupling (4). Electromagnetic actuator (11) is fixed in casing and electrically connected with electronic control unit, control lever position transducer (23) gimbal mounted in the casing, diesel rpm transducer, rack coordinates transducer, transducers of air pressure and temperature in intake manifold and transducer of fuel pressure and temperature in low-pressure fuel line. Regulator incorporates backup adjustment mechanism including three-arm lever (24) pivoting at main lever (5) retained by spring (25) connected with the main lever articulated with the rod and contacting with two-arm lever (17) articulated with the casing. Two-arm lever (17) is connected with electric control link (20) and electromagnet (21) armature manual control tie (22) retained by spring (27) in contact with electronic control unit and lock ring (18). Lock ring (18 slides at rotary lever engaged with the casing and pressed by spring (14) and screw (15) against the casing and is linked with differential lever (12) via tie (13). Differential lever (12) swivels on rack lever (10) and is articulated with electromagnetic mechanism (11) of electronic control unit.

EFFECT: manual and automatic changeover from electronic regulator to mechanical one and vise versa.
