FIELD: the invention refers to tests particularly to definition of physics-thermal properties of the rubber of the rubber-coated supporting rollers of tracked vehicles in various working conditions.
SUBSTANCE: the experimental installation for definition of the temperature of self-heating of the rubber rim of the supporting rollers of tracked vehicles has an electric engine, a tested rubber sample and a mechanism of weighting. The mechanism of weighting is fulfilled in the shape of a disc eccentrically fixed on the shaft. One terminal of the shaft is connected with the electric engine, and the other - with a tachometer. The surface contacting with the tested rubber sample through a replacement plate movable in the direction of the deformation of the tested sample is created with an external iron ring of the frictionless bearing set on the disc. The tested rubber sample with imbedded thermo-pairs and thermal isolation on load-bearing surfaces is installed on rigid foundation of the mechanism of weighting.
EFFECT: creation of a small-sized experimental installation, simple in operation for definition of the temperature of the self-heating rubber rim of supporting rollers of tracked vehicles at various working conditions is achieved.
