FIELD: the invention refers to control of railway rails.
SUBSTANCE: the mode is in that the acoustic block is fulfilled in the shape of located at a distance one from another two models providing control of a rail in a shady regime from one side, electromagnetic-acoustic converters are placed in the modules ensuring a gap relatively to the controlled rail, in the first module there are two radiating electromagnetic -acoustic converters with different frequencies of radiation forming in the rail Relay's and/or Lamb's ultrasound vibrations, in the second module there are two receiving electromagnetic-acoustic converters. At that the frequency of the receiving signal of the first receiving radiating electromagnetic-acoustic converter corresponds the radiating frequency of the first radiating electromagnetic-acoustic converter and the frequency of the receiving signal of the second receiving electromagnetic-acoustic converter corresponds the radiating frequency of the second radiating electromagnetic-acoustic. At that the lengths of the radiated waves are comparable with the thickness of the rail.
EFFECT: provides reliability of control of the whole section of the rail head in a shady regime from one side.
