FIELD: the invention refers to optical devices.

SUBSTANCE: the desk-top microscope, having dimensions of a portable computer with a thermal lens , has an analyzing transmitting light cell in which there is a micro channel for transmitting or storing a sample of liquid which is located between the upper and the low substrates transmitting light, sources of exciting and sounding light, an optical system of the microscope, an optical system of detection and an optical detector for detecting light from the optical system of detection. The optical system of the microscope includes a dichroic mirror for synthesizing exciting light concentrically with sounding, the first prism and an objective located directly under the first prism. The sources of exciting and sounding light and the optical system of the microscope are integrated in the upper substrate in such a way that synthesized light from the sources of exciting and sounding light passes through the first prism and the objective into the sample of liquid in which the thermal lens is formed under the influence of exciting light. The optical system of detection including the second prism and the mirror and the optical detector are integrated into the low substrate. Creation of a new portable microscope with a thermal lens with dimensions of a palm suitable to carry out a supersensitive analysis of a very-small quantity of a chemical matter in medicine diagnostics or at measuring parameters of environment is provided.
