SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of applied spectroscopy and analytical chemistry, namely spectrometry, spectroscopy and spectrophotometry in the near UV, visible and near-IR regions, and also to the study and analysis of materials by means of optical spectroscopy. Method of two-beam thermal lens measurements with simultaneous recording of the transmission of the test sample is based on measuring the periodic changes in the divergence of the probing beam passing through the test sample that absorbed the stimulating radiation, and the determination of the total signal caused by the light absorption and thermophysical parameters of the test sample. In this case, the light absorption of the test sample is independently determined by additional measurement of the intensity of the induced radiation passing through the sample. Thus, both the thermal lens signal of the test sample and its transmission from the ratio of the intensities of the inducing radiation transmitted through the test sample and the initial intensity of the inducing radiation (reference channel) are measured simultaneously.

EFFECT: increased accuracy and precision of measurements and reduced labor intensity.
