FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing visco-elastic substance into the anterior chamber after having removed nucleus and crystalline mass. Capsule sack is filled with photosensitizing gel containing 1.0-1.5% of chlorine row photosensitizer. Intracapsular exposure of anterior lens capsule and equatorial zone of capsule sack to laser radiation is carried out 10 min long without light access at light absorption wavelength of the photosensitizer agent under power density of 50-60 J/cm2.
EFFECT: significant secondary cataract development frequency reduction.
