FIELD: separation of dispersed particles from gases or vapors with use of gravitational, inertial or centrifugal forces, namely apparatuses for removing dispersed particles and dust out of gas flows.
SUBSTANCE: dust trap includes housing in which chamber for creating vortex flow is arranged. In upper part of said chamber inlet branch pipe for dust-containing flow is mounted along vertical axis. Under said inlet branch pipe baffle device in the form of cone with curvilinear surface is mounted. Curvilinear surface of said cone and curvilinear surface joining wall of inlet branch pipe to inner wall of chamber restrict duct for deflecting inlet flow towards inner curvilinear wall of chamber. Curvilinear wall of chamber is in the form of surface providing creation of flow that leaves annular slit duct in the form of near-wall toroidal vortex. Lower part of inner space of chamber is communicated with space inside housing through opening provided in chamber. At least two branch pipes are formed in upper part of housing for withdrawing cleaned air. Space between outer walls of chamber and housing is used for rising cleaned air. Under said opening hopper for dust accumulation is mounted in chamber.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning air.
