FIELD: devices for dusting powder material preparation, processing and transportation in by-product-coking, coal, chemical and metallurgical industries, particularly for dry gas-dispersed material cleaning of dust, including low-density dust.
SUBSTANCE: dust catcher comprises cylindrical body with tangential inlet made as flat slot-like channel. Ledges are arranged along inner body surface generatrix length equal to flat inlet height in dust-laden gas flow direction. Truncated cone is secured in area of lower body part connection with conical part thereof. Lower conical body part is connected to dust hopper provided with air-tight valve. Truncated cone provides decreased pressure in area below ledges and separated fine dist movement to dust hopper in joint with secondary flow dust removed from inner surface of truncated cone.
EFFECT: increased cleaning efficiency.
