FIELD: black metallurgy, possible use for controlling condition of blast-furnace hearth lining.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, time series made on basis of measuring signals of thermo-sensors, characterizing temperature of blast-furnace hearth, are subjected to structural analysis with the goal of early detection of moment when structural properties of read signals of each thermo-sensor change, using mathematical apparatus of wavelet transformation. Wavelet characteristic value is calculated which characterizes structural changes of signal, resulting calculated values of wavelet characteristic are recorded. Extreme value of wavelet characteristic W is determined for current time moment across all levels of specification of signal structure from a set of recorded calculated data. Synchronous appearance of extreme values of wavelet characteristic across all given levels of specification of functioning thermo-sensor signal structure, which indicates changes in thermal status of blast-furnace hearth lining.
EFFECT: increased control precision.
