EXECUTIVE MECHANISM ACTING WITH CONSTANT FORCE Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC E21B17/10 E21B47/08 E21B23/00

Abstract RU 2299969 C2

FIELD: mechanisms adapted to utilize unidirectional force for lifting and retaining load in direction transversal to force application direction, namely for centrators, caliper apparatuses, engaging devices, pulling and lifting devices.

SUBSTANCE: mechanism comprises couple of force transmitting units, which may perform relative linear movement, and lever mechanism taking the force. Lever mechanism is provided with member movable in direction transversal to force transmitting units sliding direction. Lever mechanism has guiding means to convert linear movement of force transmitting units into lever mechanism projection or retraction. Guiding means is formed as wedge made as a single unit with lever mechanism arm. Guiding surface of the wedge cooperates with wheel, which is part of force transmitting unit.

EFFECT: extended field of application and widened range of radial expansion.
