FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: drilling device comprises a drive head for actuating a clamping chuck and a clamping device surrounding the clamping chuck which is rotationally fixed relative to the clamping chuck and configured for movement in axial direction. The clamping chuck is movable in the axial direction and arranged in engagement with the drilling tool. In said method, the means of the drill string is maintained by a locking means; the chuck is rotated to twist the drilling tool from the clamping chuck. Then the clamping device is displaced in axial direction from the initial position in the direction away from the drive head by actuating mechanism means, said movement comprising actuation by a spring, and holding the end of the drilling tool which is the nearest to the drive head in the holding position by means of the clamping device. After that the drilling tool is twisted from the remaining means of the drill string by rotation of the clamping chuck and the clamping device.
EFFECT: reliable and simple way for removing the drilling tool from the drill string means.
