FIELD: power engineering, possible use in steam boilers powered by energy coals of worsened quality.
SUBSTANCE: in auxiliary burner device, equipped with air plasmatron units, inlet section of internal channel for feeding air-dust mixture in place of installation of plasmatron units is made in form of narrowing portion, shaped like equilateral triangular prism with round angles, each one of two plasmatron units is installed on a side of prism and its longitudinal axis is oriented towards vertex of aforementioned equilateral triangle. Outlet section of internal channel of device with length of 1÷2 of its diameter is made in form of expanding cone with angle of inclination of generatrix to axis equal to 7÷9°. End part of expanding portion of internal channel with length of 0,2÷0,3 of length of aforementioned portion has crown-like shape with longitudinal equal through slits evenly distributed across the circle of end part, and walls of outlet part of external channel relatively to burner axis are shaped like narrowing cones. Device also contains cylindrical chamber with inside lining, coaxially adjacent to its end part, which chamber has internal diameter equal to outlet diameter of external cone of external burner channel.
EFFECT: increased reliability of operation due to prevented conditions for cinder creation and following burnout.
