FIELD: chemical industry; methods of synthesis of the organic compounds.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of synthesis of the organic compounds, and more particularly - to formation of the new reaction-capable mediums for realization of the chemical reactions of the organic compounds and to the methods of realization of the chemical reactions of the organic synthesis. In particular the invention concerns the method of the thermal isomerization of alpha-pinene providing, that the reaction of isomerization is conducted in the supercritical lowest alcohols-solvents (C1-С3) in the field of the pressures of 90-270 atm. It is preferable as the alcohols to use methyl, ethyl alcohols or 1-propanol. The technical result of the invention is the multiple acceleration of the chemical process and its controlled selectivity.
