FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of organic compounds, namely, to creature of novel reactive media used for carrying out conversions of organic compounds, and methods for realization of organic reactions. Method involves the thermal isomerization reaction of alpha-/beta-pinenes or turpentine in supercritical aqueous-alcoholic solvent preferably at temperature 200-350°C under pressure 120-250 atm. As alcohols method involves using (C1-C3)-lower alcohols preferably. Water content in supercritical aqueous-alcoholic solvent is 10 wt.-%, not less. Invention provides accelerating rate of chemical process, increasing yield of the end product, in particular, limonene and controlled selectivity of its formation.
EFFECT: improved method of isomerization.
