GEL PREPARATION METHOD, AQUEOUS GEL COMPOSITION, AND A METHOD FOR CHANGING PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS THEREOF Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC C08L67/04

Abstract RU 2300541 C2

FIELD: polymer materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing gel based on biodegradable polymers and provides preparation of aqueous gels based on biodegradable polymers bound by a binder being an amphiphile molecule or molecule including at least one hydrophilic domain and at least one hydrophobic domain, said preparation comprising following steps: (a) preparing latex solution in the form of water suspension containing particles of at least one biodegradable polymer selected from: polyhydroxyalkanoate, polylactide, polyglycoside, polylactide-glycolide, polycaprolactam, and derivatives thereof; (b) mixing resulting latex with at least one binding agent for a period of time and under conditions favoring formation of solution containing soluble complex wherein particles of biodegradable polymer are bound by binder; and (c) heating resulting solution at 27 to 80° C for a period of time long enough to produce gel with desired physical characteristics, provided that, in above solution, at least one polymer from those listed in step (a) or binding agent used in step (b) are contained in specified concentrations.

EFFECT: expanded gel preparation resource and optimized gel preparation procedure.
