FIELD: antifriction bearings used in flying vehicles, helicopters in particular.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antifriction bearing is either single-row or double-row bearing with thin-walled revolving races which are made from hardened martensitic steel have the following parameters: surface hardness ≥613 HV (56 HRC) in zone of raceway surfaces, difference (Δ) between surface hardness and hardness of core ≥150 HV (9 HRC); hardness of core is determined at depth between 8% of rolling element diameter and 90% of thickness of wall under raceway; ratio of pitch diameter T to rolling element diameter D≥20.
EFFECT: avoidance of cracking.
