FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing ozone and oxygen mixture into inflammatory process zone. Patient saliva sample is preliminarily taken, and superoxide dismutase and catalase activity level is determined therein. Then, inflammatory soft tissue changes zone is treated with a series of ozone and oxygen mixture injections each having volume not exceeding 15 ml per one point. Next day, superoxide dismutase and catalase activity level is determined again. Their level being increased by 50% or more, ozone and oxygen mixture application is considered to be expedient and its usage in further treatment to be justified.
EFFECT: improved soft tissue inflammation processes treatment.
