FIELD: electrochemical devices; power supplies in the form of solid-oxide high-temperature fuel cells shaped as elongated vial.
SUBSTANCE: proposed changeable generator module of solid-oxide fuel cells has module body mounted in base in the form of fuel delivery chamber, riser, assembly of elongated electrically interconnected tubular unit compartments fixed on upper surface of base, and oxidant gas feed manifold that mounts gas-admission pipes of each unit compartment; module body is made in the form of separate cylindrical casings for each respective compartment; each part of body is installed on base for displacement relative to base surface; riser has channel in its bottom part communicating with oxidant delivery space in bottom part of base and common bus of module; oxidant gas manifold is fixed in top part; riser material has maximal coefficient of linear thermal expansion compared with that of unit compartment. The latter holds solid electrolyte in the form of vial that carries on its surfaces composite electrodes in the form of scorched layer and dispersed particle layer, as well as gas-admission tube installed within vial so that internal-electrode dispersed particles fill up space between outer surface of tube and scorched electrode layer; compartment is provided with case having flexible locking member in the form of bellows disposed on bottom part of casing.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and operating stability of changeable generator module and relevant unit compartment.
