FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel elements, which transform chemical energy of fuel into electric energy. Single block solid oxide fuel element includes bearing electrode, made with external surface in from of reverse cut cone and internal surface in form of truncated cone, and is provided with radial and vertical channels, which divide it into N electrochemical cells. Bearing electrode is provided with projections, placed on perimeter of external and internal cones. On external surfaces of electrochemical cells and projections, representing cathodes, applied is electrolyte, above which in addition to projections anode is applied. Side surfaces of electrochemical cells are also electrodes-anodes and form internal surfaces of vertical channels, with lower base, formed by lower butt end surfaces of electrochemical cells representing cathode. Battery of electrochemical generator includes, at least, two single block solid oxide fuel elements, made in form of bearing electrode. Battery of electrochemical generator includes, at least, two single block solid oxide fuel elements, made in form of bearing electrode. Battery of electrochemical generator contains upper and lower lids and converter.
EFFECT: increase of power and rigidity of single block solid oxide fuel element, increase of active surface of electrodes and area of contact of different polar electrodes and increase of power and hardness of battery of electrochemical generator.
