FIELD: medicine, therapeutic stomatology.
SUBSTANCE: method involves removal of super- and sub-gingival dental deposits, antiseptic treatment of mouth cavity and parodontal pockets followed by administration of sterile sponge into parodontal pockets containing 8% chitosan ascorbate solution, 2% bovine collagen acetate solution and metronidazole in the dose 0.016 mg/cm2, once per a day with interval for 2 days, 3-5 procedures for treatment course. Method provides enhancing effectiveness and reducing treatment time based on optimal combination of drugs used in indicated concentrations administrated as a sponge into parodontal pockets. Invention can be used in treatment of inflammatory parodontium diseases.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
