SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly dentistry, and may be used for treating periodontitis. That is ensured by supra- and subgingival solid and soft scaling, removal of granulations, oral sanation, professional toothbrushing; thereafter 1.5% hydrogen peroxide is introduced into gingival pockets by stream infusion with the use of a cannula brought along the gingival pockets around the teeth, with premolar and molar furcation dehiscence and the cannula brought under furcation. Then, 20 minutes after rinsing, cotton swabs with bifidus bacteria preparation are inserted into the gingival pockets around the teeth and kept for 2 hours. The therapeutic course is 5-20 procedures.

EFFECT: method provides relieving inflammation in deep abrasion of the gingival pockets with no undesired gingival retraction ensured by natural immunity stimulation, substitution of pathological obligate anaerobic microflora by obligate normal, faster mucosal regeneration and reduced drug load.
