FIELD: petroleum processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of petroleum on low-scale modular plants to produce motor fuels and fuel oils. Feedstock is distilled in several separation steps on cyclone-type evaporators with heated cylindrical vertical walls. Feedstock is first preheated to initial boiling temperature of the first high-boiling fraction and is supplied to first-step evaporator wherefrom liquid phase is discharged as commercial product. First-step vapor phase is cooled to lower boiling temperature limit of the next fraction and passed to separation in the next evaporator. Last evaporator produces gasoline in the form of vapor phase and distillation residue. Plant wherein distillation process is carried out comprises in series connected via pipelines: feedstock preheating furnace and equipment for one or several distillation steps, each having evaporator, cooler, heat exchangers, and intermediate vessels to collect target products. Each evaporator is constructed in the form of heat-insulated cyclone type apparatus with heated vertical cylindrical wall. First-step cooler is constructed in the form of water-air calorifer. Evaporators of each steps are interconnected by pipelines with corresponding heat exchangers. Target product are accumulated in corresponding vessel-collectors.

EFFECT: simplified equipment, reduced number of production cycles and operation durations.
