FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of petroleum on lowcapacity modular installations to yield motor fuels from limited local feedstock sources. Fractionation of petroleum is performed using cyclonic phase separator and contact evaporator either to produce, in continuous mode, gasoline fraction and stripped heavy residue or to produce periodically gasoline fraction, diesel fuel, and fuel oil. Feedstock is heated in recuperative heat-exchangers and separated in phase separator into liquid and gas phases. Liquid phase in dispersed state enters, in countercurrent mode, vapor space of contact evaporator. Vapor phase is further heated to a temperature by 30-50 C superior to that of liquid phase and fed, as stripping agent, through bubble distributor into liquid phase bulk located in bottom zone of contact evaporator. Gasoline fraction is obtained by condensation of vapor phase from evaporator. To obtain diesel fuel, stripped residue is circulated through steam preheater and phase separator, which results in that diesel fuel vapors overheated in contact evaporator to 250-300 C are used to strip fuel oil (residual fraction). EFFECT: simplified hardware implementation and improved economical and environmental characteristics. 3 cl, 1 dwg
