FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary positive displacement machines used as internal combustion engines, pumps and compressors. According to proposed invention, in machine containing at least one piston executing complex rotation both relative to housing together with rotor and relative to rotor in plane, speed of rotation of piston relative to rotor is changed at least in part of range of rotor turning angle when piston is exposed to maximum loads caused by pressure of working medium as compared with speed of rotation of piston relative to rotor in range from angle of turning of rotor at intake of working medium into working space and its bypass from working space. Such design makes it possible to decrease friction power owing to interruption of rotation of piston relative to rotor when it is exposed to maximum loads from working medium. According to second design version, piston is accelerated and braked relative to rotor, thus creating variable inertia load from side of piston, and piston is simultaneously accelerated relative to rotor at its interaction with separator or guide at least on part of the latter. According to third design version, separator and guide of machine are arranged in form of sections arranged in succession. Sections of guides adjoin ends of separator from different sides. According to fourth design version, in machine containing at least two pistons, piston, executing displacement stroke from working chamber, is stopped relative to rotor, and other piston is rotated around its axis relative to rotor on section of engagement with separator.
EFFECT: reduced losses in rotary machine by decreasing influence of piston non-uniformity onto wear of machine mechanisms.
