FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to positive displacement rotor machines that can be used as pumps, hydraulic drives etc., namely in multi-stage submerged units. Proposed machine comprises housing, rotor with output shaft accommodated in said housing to run therein and having working surface coaxial with its rotational axis and two pistons. Housing working surface represents two curvilinear or flat surfaces inclined to rotor rotational axis and two intersecting sphere segments cut by inclined surfaces on opposite sides. Housing and rotor working surfaces make working chamber. Rotor working surface has at least one groove made along rotor rotational axis. Both pistons represent at least a section of disk with elements to interact with housing inclined surface, which are fitted in rotor groove to seal working chamber and revolve in groove plane.
EFFECT: possibility to use proposed machine in multi-stage submerged pumps and hydraulic drives.
