FIELD: machine construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of machine construction, specifically to rotor engines with non-parallel axes of rotation of the rotor and piston. The voluminous rotor engine contains a case, functioning surface which is executed in the form of a part of a torus, a rotor, a circular working cavity, a separator, fixed rigidly in the case and separating the working cavity into two parts. On the working area the rotor is made with at least one channel along its geometrical rotating axis. In each channel of the rotor a piston with the capability of covering the working cavity and executing rotational oscillatory motions on the plane of the channel. The piston is made in the form of at least part of the disc. In each piston there is at least one groove for the passage of the separator, which is made in the form of a shim and is mounted in the case at an angle to the plane of rotation of the rotor. The separator conditionally has ascending and descending parts with approximate borders in two opposite places of the separator, situated at a maximum distance from each other along the axis of the rotor. The input and output windows of the working medium are situated on different sides of the ascending part of the separator. On the descending part of the separator is executed at least one pass through with the possibility of the passage of the working medium from one side of the separator to the other.
EFFECT: reliability of synchronisation of the working elements is increased, possibility of using it in immersed fast-spinning multi-stage pumps of high pressure is provided.
