FIELD: medicine, allergology, laboratory diagnosis.
SUBSTANCE: for detection of drug allergy in a patient serum blood method involves addition of equal amount of drug with the concentration of one-half of the therapeutic dose. For control the same amount of physiological solution is added to a patient serum blood. Samples are incubated for 1 h, immune complexes are precipitated by addition of 50 mcl of analyzed samples in plate wells for carrying out immunoenzyme analysis containing 150 mcl of 4.2% polyethylene glycol solution prepared in borate solution (pH 8.4) and kept for 1 h. Results are recorded using immunoenzyme equipment for analysis at wavelength 450 nm. The presence or absence of allergic response is assayed by the level increase of optical density value in experimental sample as compared with that in control. Invention provides high sensitivity of method.
EFFECT: improved method of diagnosis.
