FIELD: disk cartridge with optical disk installed inside.

SUBSTANCE: disk cartridge includes: main cartridge case block, inside which an optical disk is mounted with possible rotation, and which contains aperture for part of head, meant for opening a part of optical disk to outside from inner to outer circle of optical disk; latch block, mounted with possible movement of cartridge body onto this main block for opening/closing the aperture for part of head; recess, into which a section of part of head block of recording and/or reproducing device is inserted, formed as continuation of aperture for part of head on the surface of main cartridge body block, on which latch block slides in the area, opposite to latch block movement area.

EFFECT: creation of disk cartridge, usage of which allows to reduce thickness of recording and/or reproduction device.
