FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, milking units used in farms and personal holdings.
SUBSTANCE: vacuum equipment for milking unit has vacuum pump, damper, vacuum meter, vacuum regulator and vertical receiver, said parts of vacuum equipment being connected to one another. Receiver has inlet opening at its upper end, adjacent to vacuum pump, discharge valve at its lower end, and pipe union at its side wall for connection through main hose to milking equipment, and is furnished with float for closing inlet opening in case of undesired getting of milk product into receiver cavity. Float is positioned at level above level of arrangement of pipe union for main hose and is fitted with guides extending along longitudinal axis of float, with upper guide running through inlet opening of receiver and lower guide being positioned within guiding channel provided in support.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation of vacuum equipment for milking unit and prolonged service life of milking unit on the whole.
