FIELD: ceramics.
SUBSTANCE: powderlike material with its binder phase consisting preferably of cement-based system is capable, when having been saturated with a liquid reacting with binder phase, of being hydrated into x-ray contrast and chemically bound ceramic material. According to invention, indicated binder phase consists preferably of CaO*Al2O3 and/or 3CaO*Al2O3. The material also contains one or more types of heavy metals having density above 5 g/cm3. Invention also covers a method for obtaining powderlike material and chemically bound ceramic material manufactured therefrom, wherein above-mentioned binder phase is characterized by molar ratio Al2O3*3H2O to 3CaO*Al2O3 *6H2O up to 2:1.
