FIELD: fire fighting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a raw material for producing a refractory product, to an application of said raw material, as well as to a refractory product containing a similar raw material. The raw material for producing a refractory product, with a chemical composition according whereto the following oxides are present in the following quantities, wt.%: Al2O3 from 83 to 93, MgO from 4 to 9, CaO from 2 to 10, has an open porosity ranging from 30 to 60 vol.%. Oxides of Al2O3, MgO and CaO are present in a total amount of at least 98 wt.% as calculated for the total mass of substances of the chemical composition of the raw material, wherein the proportion of SiO2 is less than 0.5 wt.%, and the proportion of Fe2O3 is less than 0.5 wt.%. The raw material is included in fire-resistant concrete, in particular, based on calcium-aluminate cement.

EFFECT: increase in the fire resistance of the raw material.
