FIELD: protective materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protective technological covers for protection of steels and alloys in technological heat and thermal and mechanical treatment by pressure in the process for manufacturing articles. Proposed protective technological covers for steels and alloys comprises the following components, wt.-%: SiO2, 23-55; MgO, 6.5-20.0; Na2O, 0.5-6.5; 3 CaO x Al2O3, 1,5-8.0; MgO x ZrO2, 0.5-2.5; Al2O3 x MgO, 1.0-1.5, and Al2O3, the balance. Invention provides decreasing cohesive of cover to steels and alloys and increasing temperature resistance up to 11000C.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of cover.
