TUBE CUTTING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC B23D21/00 

FIELD: plastic working of metals, namely apparatuses for cutting tubes, possibly in line of high-efficiency continuous tube welding and shape bending aggregates for cutting moving rolled piece.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing with toothed rim on inner surface, drive spindle with cantilever shafts and pinions; rotating body with gear wheels; cranks mounted on cantilever shafts, having kinematics joint with drive spindle and rotating body, arranged in casings and carrying cutting tools. Pinions of cantilever shafts are doubled ones and they may move relative to axles for engaging with toothed rim of housing in limit right position and with cylindrical gear wheel of rotating body in limit left position. One crank has spring type members for restricting rotation of holder of cutting tool in the form of chamfering cutter with mounting rollers. Kinematics axis of crank and drive spindle is in the form of cylindrical gear transmission whose gear wheel is fixed on rotating body and whose pinions are mounted on bodies of cranks.

EFFECT: increased useful life period, improved operational reliability, enlarged assortment of cut tubes, enhanced quality of cut ends and of outer chamfer of cylindrical tubes.
