FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves concurrently recording patient main artery pulse wave at different levels of extremity, determining pulse wave amplitude, duration of back front, pulse wave propagation time between gauges, distance between the gauges, measuring systolic and diastolic arterial blood pressure and counting hematocrit from formula: Ht=1.872/((ΔT*66.03/A)-0.41*Ps *Pd*Tv/L)-0.2, where Н is the hematocrit; ΔT is the back front pulse wave duration (ms); A is the pulse wave amplitude (V); Ps is the systolic pressure (mm of mercury column); Pd is the diastolic pressure (mm of mercury column); Tv is the pulse wave propagation time between gauges (ms); L is the distance between the gauges (cm).
EFFECT: high accuracy of noninvasive continuous hematocrit monitoring; enabled early stage blood viscosity disorders detection.
