FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves recording pulse wave in patient large artery at two levels of extremity. Pulse wave amplitude, back front duration, pulse wave propagation speed from one recorder to the other and distance between the recorders are measured. Systolic and diastolic arterial blood pressure is measured and blood viscosity is calculated using original formula.

EFFECT: usability in carrying out continuous blood viscosity monitoring; possibility of continuous blood viscosity monitoring instruments development.
