FIELD: apparatuses for creating welded joints by exothermic welding of metallic parts, initiating of self-propagating exothermic reactions.

SUBSTANCE: crucible includes container with lateral walls lined with refractory material; melting bottom; placed in container exothermic welding material and lid fluid-tightly closing exothermic material. Igniter of welding material is partially placed inside welding material or near it and partially it is placed outside container. Rigidity of igniter may be increased for keeping its shape and for fixing it in desired position relative to welding material. Configuration of crucible is such that it is possible to arrange it on form having chamber inside. At inflammation of welding material by means of igniter exothermic reaction is realized in welding material for creating liquid welding metal and slag. Melting bottom of container melts and welding material flows out to welding chamber of form for making welded joint.

EFFECT: possibility for using measured beforehand quantity of welding material, safe storage, easy transportation and usage, recovery of crucible container.
