FIELD: mechanical engineering; safety devices. SUBSTANCE: gas generator consists of two concentrically tubes. Inner tube provided with discharge holes accommodates inflammable gas-producing material set in fire by igniter. Filtering element is arranged in ring space between walls of tubes. Gas producing material is enclosed in hermetically sealed container accommodating a charge. Fire tube placed inside container and made integral with container has only one outlet hole. EFFECT: simplified assembling of gas generator, improved safety in operation and possibility of control of gas generator output. 9 cl, 2 dwg
