FIELD: oil producing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designed and operation of vertical cylindrical reservoirs with floating tank pontoons. Proposed floating tank roof includes pontoon floating on surface of oil product with device to provide its stability. Said device to provide stability is arranged on bottom over perimeter of pontoon and is made of metal pipes longitudinal connected by welding, diameter 50-55 mm, length 2-8 m, depending on size of pontoon, or in form of honeycombs welded of sheet metal.
EFFECT: improved reliability of tank owing to increased stability of pontoon.
