FIELD: biotechnology, medicine, pharmaceutical industry.

SUBSTANCE: double-helical ribonucleic acid is produced from Sacchromyces cerevisiae Y-448 yeast cells. Said cells are incubated in presence of Arthrobacter luteus ATSS 21606. Obtained homogenate is deproteinized and concentrated by ultrafiltration on membranes with cutting-off limit of at least 100000 Da. Nucleic acids are cut with lithium chloride. double-helical RNA is purified with chloroform or mixture of chloroform with isoamyl alcohol and precipitated with ethanol.

EFFECT: dhRNA with high molecular mass and fast secondary structure.
