METHOD FOR ULTRASOUND TREATMENT OF CONE THREAD OF PARTS, MAINLY THREADED PORTION OF OIL-PRODUCTION TUBE AND INSTALLATION FOR PERFORMING THE SAME Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC B23P6/00 B23G1/22 

FIELD: strengthening and correcting ultrasonic treatment of threaded surface of parts, namely built-up members of oil production column.

SUBSTANCE: threaded portions of treated part and working tool are brought to primary mutual contact and then they are subjected to relative rotation in directions of screwing and unscrewing. Torque and fitting depth of threaded portions are controlled. Ultrasonic oscillations are applied to contact zones of threaded portions during first operation of screwing on, application of ultrasonic oscillations is going on during operation with dwelling and it is terminated at ending treatment before final disconnection of threaded portions. Additional ultrasonic action is realized before beginning first operation of screwing on and(or) before final disconnection of threaded portions or after it.

EFFECT: possibility for rationally using ultrasonic oscillation energy for strengthening thread, enhanced accuracy of technological transitions at performing screwing on and off.
