FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: tool contains a hollow casing having at side of input end a surface intended for contact with waveguide, and at side of the output end - work thread surface with bevel, mating surface of treated thread. On the work thread surface slots are made, they are located between the bevel and base of the work thread conical surface, crossing wall of the tool, and slots with depth exceeding thread profile height, located between the bevel and base of the work thread conical surface. The casing cavity has conical shape. In the input end of the casing the longitudinal holes with thread are made, they are intended to connect the cooling lubricant pipelines. Casing surface intended for contact with the waveguide is made in form of two or more conical surfaces located along the casing and going one into another.

EFFECT: invention increases service characteristics of thread of the treated parts, and treatment of pipes with large diameter.
