FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: saline water treatment device includes at least one reservoir (10) for receiving water mixed with at least one flocculant to separate the organic and biological components contained in water. The reservoir (10) includes at least one contact zone K for contacting of the water mixed with flocculant with at least one gas, especially air, and at least one sedimentation zone S for separation of the flocculated organic components from the gas. At least one contact zone K contains at least one aeration unit (30) of one or more ceramic aeration membranes with an average pore size of 2 mcm. At least one membrane filter element (40) is located in at least one sedimentation zone S. The aeration unit (30) is connected directly to the compressed gas line so that at least one gas is injected through at least one aeration unit (30) without application of a carrier fluid. The invention also relates to a method for saline water treatment using the said device.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce energy consumption, eliminate membrane clogging and provide treatment of turbid and heavily polluted water.
