FIELD: construction, particularly ground properties determination.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying pressure to tree faces of cubic sample; measuring stresses σ1, σ2, σ3 and strains ε1, ε2, ε3 along three coordinate axes; determining absolute and relative errors of Lode-Nadai parameter, namely stressedly-deformed state. Pressure is successively applied to three adjacent faces and three opposite faces along with stresses and strains measuring. Then errors are compared and absolute and relative errors of Lode-Nadai parameter are defined. After that mode of stressedly-deformed state distortion is estimated and average values σ1av, σ2av, σ3av are determined from above Lode-Nadai parameter errors.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of ground testing under adjustable three-dimensional strain conditions.
