FIELD: the invention refers to investigation of suspensions and emulsions.
SUBSTANCE: the local profile of the speed across the pipe line is determined with the aid of the Doppler ultrasound method. The local measuring of the strain of the shift of liquid in the zone of definition of the local profile of the speed is executed with the aid of the sensor of the strain of the shift located in the border layer of the liquid. On the basis of the local profile of the speed and the corresponding local strain of the shift the computing block defines the rheological parameters of the flowing liquid: shear viscosity, the limit of fluidity.
EFFECT: increases accuracy and simplifies measuring and also reduces outlays on its carrying out due to using of a compact measuring arrangement.
