FIELD: structured surface with superphobic properties and methods of creation thereof.
SUBSTANCE: superphobic surface has topography which is characterized by relation between spatial frequencies of individual Fourier components and their amplitudes a(f) which are determined from function S: S(log f)=a(f)•f. Integral of the function calculated between lower limit of log(f1/μm-1)= -3 and upper limit of log(f2/μm-1)=3 is at least 0.5. The surface if made of hydrophobic or mainly of oleophilic material or have covering of hydrophobic or mainly of oleophilic material.
EFFECT: possibility of performing superphobic test of materials with different surface structure, possibility of surface self-cleaning, elimination of manufacturing new negative with demanded topography of superphobic surface.
