FIELD: radio engineering, possible use in systems for detecting and determining location of radio radiation sources.
SUBSTANCE: method involves reducing methodic components of systematic direction-finding errors, random components of direction-finding errors resulting from distortion of space and time structure of electromagnetic waves of used radio signals because of electro-dynamic interaction between antennas of direction finding meter and influence of mast device by means of determining value of parameter, characterizing presence of quadrature component of interference signal and azimuth estimation error, on basis of which trustworthiness of results of determining of azimuth detection and inclination angle of radio signal source electromagnetic wave. Device achieves technical result due to introduction of additional components and connections between them.
EFFECT: increased precision, increased sensitivity of direction-finding.
