FIELD: storage of heat-generating materials such as radioactive fuel for nuclear reactor fuel elements.
SUBSTANCE: proposed detrimental material storage container 10 has cylindrical container unit incorporating central axial cylindrical through channel 13. Group of detrimental material storage tanks 12 is disposed between central channel and circular surface of container unit. Cylindrical concrete body 14 encloses group of storage tanks 12. The latter are mounted so that they abut against one another along closed curve. Circular surface sections of abutting storage tanks 12 form prevailing part of wall of central channel 13. Cylindrical body 14 is in direct contact with storage tanks 12 essentially over all parts of mentioned circular surfaces which do not constitute mentioned sections. Remaining parts of circular surfaces of storage tanks 12 form in finished container permanent structure wherein concrete body 14 is cemented. Method for producing equivalent container is also proposed.
EFFECT: simplified design affording desired heat dissipation and protection of detrimental material storage tanks, enhanced economic efficiency in manufacture.
